Claims companies keep up to 35% of your compensation. We prepare your claim for one small flat fee, you send it, and every penny the airline pays is yours.
“Claims companies keep up to 35% of compensation that's legally yours. I didn't think that was fair. We prepare your claim for one fixed price, you send it, and the airline pays you in full.”

RE: Compensation claim under UK Regulation 261/2004
Flight U2 2135, 14 August 2026, London Gatwick (LGW) to Málaga (AGP)
Booking reference: K7Q2ZX
Dear Sir or Madam,
I was a passenger on the above flight with a confirmed reservation. The flight arrived at its final destination 4 hours and 12 minutes after its scheduled arrival time.
The great-circle distance of this route is approximately 1,645 km. Under Article 7(1)(b), I am therefore entitled to compensation of £350 per passenger.
The reason given, a technical problem with the aircraft, does not constitute "extraordinary circumstances" as established in case law…
The difference
Why pay 35% when the airline already owes you?
Most valid claims don't need a middleman, just the right letter and persistence. Here's how the options compare on a £1,050 claim for 3 passengers.
| AirAssert | Claims companies | Doing it alone | |
|---|---|---|---|
| You keep | £1,050 minus one fixed price | About £682 (fees of 25–35%, up to 50% if it goes to court) | £1,050 |
| Cost | From £29, fixed upfront | Taken from your compensation | Free |
| Effort | About 10 minutes to submit | Lowest, they handle it | Research the rules and write your own letter |
| If the airline says no | Rebuttal letter and escalation steps | They escalate, often for a higher fee | You're on your own |
| Who the airline pays | You, directly | Often the company first | You, directly |
Pricing
One fixed price. No commission. Ever.
Your price depends on how much you're claiming and is shown before you pay, never more than a small fraction of your compensation. The airline pays you 100% directly.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Which flights are covered?
Flights departing the UK or EU on any airline, and flights arriving in the UK or EU on a UK or EU airline. The delay must be 3 hours or more at your final destination, or the flight cancelled with less than 14 days' notice.
How much can I get?
Under UK261 it's £220, £350 or £520 per passenger, depending on the flight distance. Under EU261 it's €250, €400 or €600. Long-haul flights delayed between 3 and 4 hours get half.
Why not just use a claims company?
You can. They're convenient, but they typically keep 25–35% of your compensation, sometimes more if it goes to court. Most valid claims succeed with a clear, correctly argued letter, so we give you that letter for one small fee and you keep everything.
Can I claim directly from the airline for free?
Yes, always. We save you the research, get the legal details right and help you push back if the airline refuses. Whether that's worth it is your choice.
What if the airline rejects my claim?
Airlines reject many valid claims at first. With the Rejection Fighter, you get a rebuttal letter answering their specific excuse and the steps to escalate to the official dispute scheme or small-claims court.
How far back can I claim?
In England and Wales up to 6 years, in Scotland 5 years. In EU countries the limit depends on the country. It's best not to wait.
Is this legal advice?
No. We provide self-help claim documents and guidance. You submit your own claim and stay in control, and the airline pays you directly.
What if I'm not eligible?
Our checker tells you before you pay. If it says you're unlikely to be owed compensation, we won't offer you a pack.
