Your consent, where required

If you give us other passengers' names, you confirm you may share them with us for their claim.

Who we share it with. Only service providers who process data for us, under contract:

  • Shopify, which runs our shop, checkout and order emails.
  • Payment providers such as Shopify Payments and PayPal.
  • Anthropic, whose AI model Claude helps us draft your claim documents from your order details. A person on our team reviews every document before it's sent to you. We share only the order details needed to draft your documents.
  • Google, for advertising measurement, if you consent to cookies.
  • Our email provider, to send your documents and reminders.

We never sell your data, and we never send it to the airline. You decide what you send.

Transfers outside the UK and EEA. Some providers process data in other countries, including the US. We rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (and the UK addendum) to protect it.

How long we keep it. Claim details and documents: 12 months after delivery, then deleted. Order and invoice records: as long as Latvian accounting law requires. Support emails: 24 months.

Your rights. You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time. Email airassertdoc@gmail.com; we reply within one month.

Complaints. You can complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija). UK customers can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Automated decisions. Our eligibility check is an estimate to help you decide whether to buy. It doesn't make legally binding decisions about you.
